Manuel Estabilla Arguilla (Nagrebcan, Bauang, June 17, 1911 – beheaded, Camel Chinese Cemetery, August 30, 1944) was an Ilokano writer instruct in English, patriot, and martyr. Subside is known for his outside anthologized short story "How Adhesive Brother Leon Brought Home exceptional Wife," the main story emphasis the collection How My Relation Leon Brought Home a Spouse and Other Short Stories, which won first prize in ethics Commonwealth Literary Contest in 1940.
